Breakers is located in one of the most stunning places on earth, with dramatic coastlines and landscapes; we are naturally rich with beauty in Tofino. Tofino lies in the centre of a United Nations World Biosphere Reserve, an ecologically significant area that supports the use of renewable bio based products. We at Breakers want the food we serve to reflect this beauty and richness that surrounds us, keeping the philosophy of sustainability of a world-class destination that is producing quality experiences in foodservice. 

            The food at Breakers has always been top quality. We source out the finest freshest foods available to us in this remote part of the world. We have the diversity to keep up with current trends in our market as well as showcasing foods from many cultures through our experiences and travels. At Breakers we only use free-range eggs, free run turkey, chicken, beef and wild salmon.  Hemp foods are a large component of our cafe. We use hemp nuts, seeds and pure hemp nut oils for anything from salads to breads and baked goodies. Many of our specialty cheeses, sauces, salads and produce are certified organic when these products are available to us. Our coffee is certified organic with the prestigious Utz Kapeh Certification, roasted especial for the Breakers label. Breakers has also been a key component to introducing biodegradable and compost-able take out products to our industry and to the West Coast. With continued dedication, Breakers has stood behind and fully supported environmentally sustainable resources for use in the foodservice industry.
