Breakers Fresh Food Cafe has always been highly supported by the local community and we have returned this support through continually sponsoring all local charities and community events. In 2001, owner Trish Dixon, wrote a charity cookbook for the Tofino Children's Center, which was at a risk of closing its doors. This cookbook is called A Taste of Tofino and is still continuing to raise money as a very popular seller in retail outlets in Tofino .
